¡¡According to statistics of China Futures Association, the total volume of China¡¯s futures market from January to June 2013 is 1,003,914,166 contracts and the total turnover RMB128,334.835 billion, up by 103.27% and 88.18% from the same period of the year before respectively.
Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) accumulatively traded 275,509,485 contracts, with the accumulative turnover of RMB24,855.253 billion (accounting for 27.44% and 19.37% respectively of the whole market), with a year on year growth of 109.20% and 20.05%; Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) accumulatively traded 288,825,129 contracts, with the accumulative turnover of RMB10,401.496 billion (accounting for 28.77% and 8.10% respectively of the whole market), with a year on year growth of 130.69% and 50.60%; Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) accumulatively traded 350,042,927 contracts, with the accumulative turnover of RMB25,040.923 billion (accounting for 34.87% and 19.51% respectively of the whole market), with a year on year growth of 78.51% and 171.76%; China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) accumulatively traded 89,536,625 contracts, with the accumulative turnover of RMB68,037.164 billion (accounting for 8.92% and 53.02% respectively of the whole market), with a year on year growth of 118.99% and 116.86%.
In terms of single month statistics, since the domestic futures market hit a new high in single month turnover of RMB26.5 trillion in May, trading in June cooled slightly. Statistics showed that the trading volume of futures markets exceeds 169 million contracts in June, and the turnover exceeds RMB19.7 trillion, down by 17.4% and 25.43% compared with May. Among them, SHFE traded 51,151,149 contracts in June with the turnover of RMB4,549.344 billion; ZCE traded 42,011,834 contracts with the turnover of RMB1,391,411 billion; DCE traded 62,999,602 contracts with the turnover of RMB4,292.688 billion; CFFEX traded 13744845 contracts with the turnover of RMB9,546.898 billion.
