Coking Coal Futures Receives Active Participation of Sport Enterprises in 1st Week

¡¡¡¡At the 29th Session of the 2nd Council held by Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) on December 20, SHFE¡¯s Strategic Plan for Year 2013-2017 was approved and will be officially released on December 26.
¡¡¡¡The 29th session believed that the SHFE¡¯s Strategic Plan for Year 2013-2017 has thoroughly implemented the spirit and requirement concerning ¡°deepening financial system reform, intensifying financial regulation, promoting financial innovation, and maintaining financial stability¡± as put forward at the 18th CPC National Congress. After summarizing its past five-year¡¯s development and analyzing the current market environment, SHFE has made clear its mission ¨C devoting to the reform and opening-up of China¡¯s capital market, providing high-quality products and service, trying its utmost to become a risk management and price finding center, and serving the real economy and market participants. At the same time, SHFE will pay equal attention to self-regulation and risk prevention, intensify its efforts in training risk consciousness, compliance awareness, and responsibility awareness of market participants both at home and abroad, and promote the standardization of market regulation. Meanwhile, it will also enhance its efforts in innovation in risk management ideas and methods and improve the internationalization level of its risk management idea and mode, so as to ensure that no systematic risk will ever happen.
¡¡¡¡It is learnt that the Strategic Plan has specified the long-term goal of SHFE ¨C to build itself into a comprehensive and international derivatives exchange with standards, efficiency, and transparency. Its goal in 2013-2017 is to make itself a leading exchange of commodity futures, option, and other derivatives in Asian-pacific region with international influence. To achieve the strategic objective in the next five years, SHFE will achieve product transition, market transformation, and system transition by focusing on innovation-driven and transitional development.
